GPSTagger
A digital camera is something everyone has these days. What not every digital camera has this days is a way of recording the GPS coordinates of the location the picture was taken. If you are like me you probably want to store this information into the image files, so later when you look at the photos you see where they where taken. Also, if very high precision is not a priority you probably can settle for 1-2-3 GPS locations for a set of photos you take one time. You can use Google Earth to mark those locations (placing placemarks on them) and export them in the form of a KML file. This is where GPSTagger comes into place. You can load up your photos and the KML file and select the photos you want to tag with location you have marked. It also has a nice preview of images. You can also set the copyright string for the images. The geographical information and the Copyright string are saved within the photo's EXIF header. So when looking at picture it will be exactly the same, except it will have richer metadata.
